“Antioch has emerged from its modest beginnings to become an epitome of metropolitan churches. It serves as a mega-structure offering missionary and social services for thousands of members and countless citizens of Atlanta while accomplishing its major purpose, spreading the word of God. In hundreds of years, the trials and tribulations associated with this institution have been great, but the power of the Holy Spirit has allowed this great institution to overcome all obstacles and flourish in its endeavors.”

If you are in Atlanta, you MUST visit Antioch North at least once. Rev. Alexander is an old-school, seasoned preacher and I have yet to hear anybody deliver a sermon like he can. His trademark pre-sermon exercises of “Amazing Grace”/”I Will Trust In The Lord” sets the atmosphere for the Word. Excellent choirs and music. Though I would probably classify Antioch as more of a mega-sized church (15,000 members). But its a traditional, black baptist church that just grew to mega-size; its not one of those contemporary new-age mega churches.
