“Peace is known for its warm, inviting, casual atmosphere. It is typical for visitors to receive at least five friendly greetings before the sermon is preached. Members come to the church wearing what’s comfortable, from suits to jeans and t-shirts. Our children and teens are typically very casual since their services are very high energy interactive programs. The worship services at Peace begin with praise and worship with the latest gospel praise songs. However, we will also occasionally go “old school” with foot stomping hymns. The sermons are life application, biblically based teachings that are oftentimes illustrated through impromptu demonstrations and skits.”

“Peace Baptist Church was founded February 7, 1993 in the home of Pastor and Mrs. Tyrone Barnette with fourteen (14) adult members. Since that time, the church has worshipped in ten (10) different locations, and is now comprised of over two thousand (2000) members.”
