I have been visiting EBC for the last month and have enjoyed it. I'll admit that the parking situation discouraged me from visiting. I live in the area and seeing the one way in and one way out combined with the size of the church seemed like a bad idea. Since I have been attending I haven't had any problems because I just arrive early. I've only attended the 9:30 service so far but plan to attend a Saturday service soon. Pastor Oliver is an awesome preacher and teacher. I'm glad I finally got over my parking issues and me and my husband plan to join this church in the near future.

I love your blog! And welcome to Atlanta. This subject matter is so relevant; I have lived here 11 years (this time) and for much of that time, have been a serial visitor - not yet joining a church. However, my husband and I have finally made a decision (drum roll, please) and its Elizabeth Baptist. I have visited more than a few times and walked away with the same feelings you did...enjoyed it. My 4 year old son also gets a lot out of the Children's Church. Keep up the good work here and I'm glad I stumbled up on your piece of the web-world. Also, I recently started a Social Network (The Talking Bench) there are about 40 African. American women talking about various topics of interest. There are a few discussions/groups that you might find interesting, and if not feel free to start your own. I'd love for you to stop by and join. www.thetalkingbench.com
